Christian Women's Seminars is a non-denominational tax-exempt organization. We are formed for the purpose of instructing, encouraging and equipping women in their daily life, Christian walk, and ministries.
This is accomplished through weekly discipleship and mentoring classes, seminars, retreats and national conferences.
Leatrice Caldwell is the founder of the ministry, which was organized in 1986. In 1983 she became deeply concerned about the plight of women, and while in prayer the Lord began to speak to her about seminars for women. For a start she began a retreat which increased in attendance yearly. In 1986, along with a staff of women, they began to incorporate and organize CWS. To their knowledge, they did not realize the magnitude of the work and that it would reach thousands of women in the USA and abroad.
The many testimonies from various women include: failing marriages saved, women healed from inner hurts and local women's ministries encouraged. Many have gone back to their churches and communities and started a ministry to hurting women.
